14 Advices for my Juniors

1. Stop the crap u think about girl's college- This is the Golden rule! Believe me you will have  some amazing girlfriends at the end of the year.
2. Join up a soc- Yes, you want a life apart from studies and this can help you live one. But Conditions apply here also, if you are just joining up because "You know my friends are also joining up". NO!! Join a society that suits your personality- Literary club, Drama club, Dance society, Tech society whatever ! Any thing that holds your slightest interest should be your choice.
3. Let your friends be-This doesn't applies for all but for the most.Your group will change. Let it be. People are not easy to know right?And you are not God that you may think of someone to be your type and that cannot go wrong.We make mistakes so be it. Take your time. You will find good bunch of people on the way.
4. Miss some classes and talk philosophy-Not a strict advice but yaa just a thing.We obviously don't need 100% attendance and sometimes when you skip lectures and go deeply philosophical with your friends, talk about life and all, you will know that those are best kind of conversations you will have.
5. Take up a project-  Oh yeaa! whatever branch you be in. Do one project in your initial years. Can really build up your momentum for the coming years.
6. Know the difference-It is important to know the difference between Facebook friends and real friends.Not that you don't know it already but a demarcation is important so just emphasizing it.
7. Maintain your relation with Profs- Hahaa...Yes this should be one of the things because ultimately they can do things to your Marksheets you can never imagine. Better be in good terms with them, if they won't give extra credit for good handwriting at least they won't deduct extra marks also.This really happens.Not kidding Bro.
8. Guard bhaiya can really help- Remember when you lost your notebook last sem? He was the one who kept it safe.You want extra 1/2 hr to sit in the lab and do stuff, he'll let you if you are a achaa-bachaa in his eyes.
9. Do one stage performance-  Singing, dancing, anchoring whatever do at least one! You'll make mistakes, you may embarrass yourself but at the end of the day you'll so love it, the next year you will do it like a pro and will guide young ones with the tits and bits of the thing.
10.  Don't act shy or over smart - Neither helps in college.If you want to voice an opinion say it out loud.Who the hell will stop you(Please don't try this during lectures). But yes being too timid or too loud will never help you. You'll always be overshadowed.No one is asking you to be melodramatic because this can cost you many times. If you want to ask something go Ask. Your seniors are super sweet they will always help you out ;)
11.  Help out someone with NO hidden motives- The happiness that it will give you is priceless.
12.  Get into fights.True friendship will come back- Oh yeaa..this will happen. You will fight.You will ignore.You won't talk for weeks.Won't reply to texts.But if you take the step to clarify things true friendship will always come back to you no matter what!
13.  The F word-  Use the F word very cautiously.This can be really dangerous.So you just went for it in the flow while in a brawl and later turns out that the opposite team have master F-word users and they come and shove you with the Fs making a complete a fool out of you.Damn embarrassing.
14.  After Exam plans- The biggest ditches of your life won't be in relationships but here! Turns out she has booked up Evening train to Madagascar and the second 'she' is going out with school friends and the third 'she' is committed and the only 'she' left was planning to go with all these 'shes' and is now dead having burger at Mc Donalds. So plan before the last English exam and book your things prior. heheee..
